Legacy Hose

I bought 200 feet and after 1 week the swivel end started leaking... Then last week I received a replacement , and a 100 foot section from another supplier.. Still legacy hose, non marking blue 4500 double braid.. and guess what I cleaned one hood and the hose blew hole about 6 inches from the swivel end ... My unloader is set at 2800 psi with a spike at 3100 psi , 4gpm and running a temp of about 205 degrees... What gives I thought Legacy was some good hose... I do know goodyear hose sux, sort of like there tires do.. I guess its back to envirospec huh...???

Ok got another crimp end on today.. I have 4 stores to clean this weekend I guess will see what happens .. I am bringing and extra 150' peice just in case..

hmm, I have always had great luck with goodyear hoses. For me, the serpentine hose from E-Spec is the worst hose out there. I have not had one length of that hose that lasted more than two weeks. I have some good year hoses on one of my trucks that is a year and half old, and still kicking. Lots of sparks when we are winding it up, but it still holds full pressure.
