Grease fire forces Las Vegas Hilton evacuations
Dec 4, 2006 12:37 PM
A small grease fire forced some to evacuate the Las Vegas Hilton Sunday night. It started shortly before 5:30 in the downstairs kitchen. Fire officials believe the flames jumped from a grill to an air-duct.
Two restaurants were evacuated and business offices on the floor above. Crews were able to quickly get the fire under control, before it spread to the rest of the hotel.
Four people were treated for smoke inhalation and are expected to be just fine. There is no estimate yet on how much damage was done.
