Houston is crazy.
I guess everything IS bigger in Tejas.
 
Houston isn't like most metro areas--we're incredibly spread out, where most metro areas are high in population because they're incredibly dense.

That's what I was referring to.
I was downtown for a mortgage convention a few years ago and a friend of mine was going to drive in for a drink at the hotel.
I asked him how long it would take and he said, "Two hours."
I said, "I thought you lived here in Houston?"
He said, "I do."
 
Atlantas population is 400K, its metro area is over 5 MILLION! Now that urban sprawl.

It doesn't seem like it takes as long to get from one end to the other, though.
