Recently my surface cleaner went down and I rented a cyclone. My guy could nearly run with the unit and leave no rings at all. I rented a cyclone about a year ago and ended up buying it. The one that I have is crap, however, I am about to replace some parts on it to see if it will work as well as the one I just recently rented.

What advantages does the water jet have over the cyclone? I know the wj has the gun and is adjustable, but is there anything else? How close does the water jet get to the ground on the lowest setting? This was ran with a 5.5 @ 3500.

I would love to test all brands of surface cleaners side by side. See the link below

I would guess there are different nozzles on the rental. Does anything look different? I say try more bars, different angle nozzles, tilt the nozzles more or less - You won't know that you can't get it to work better unless you try.

I have seen the cyclone but don't remember what it looks like exactly, I think that it might be another color and maybe not all the features of the water jet.

I think that if a company like Whisper Wash made the Classic with the tires and handle of the big guy, that would be a great feature because it would have a lot of the benifits of the cyclone or waterjet but at probably half the cost, just no handle valve, not adjustable and no wand attachment there but sometimes those options are not needed or wanted by some people.

I was just thinking the other day about trying to get the tires and handle from Whisper Wash to put onto the Classic so it would be like the big guy but only smaller would be nice on a lot of jobs.

They do offer that option for the 24" Ground Force surface cleaner when you buy them for about another $50.00. Not sure what it would cost to just purchase the wheel assembly and handle but just sent them an email to find out to modify one of my surface cleaners. I think it would be able to do the same thing to the Classic surface cleaner, I asked them about this also and will post what they tell me about that.

Chris, the cyclone is black and looks the same as the water jet, less the gun and the adjuster.
