This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it. It's her future she’s worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big government state that she’s being forced to live in! These solutions are just common sense in her opinion.

Put me in charge . . .

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks?







You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will selL your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.







Now, if you have the guts - PASS IT ON...
 
I'm just curious. If all of a sudden, everyone on welfare just became ready, willing and able to work; what could they do? Imagine if they all lined up at your front door and it was your job to put them to work, after you get a few lined up for your own personal needs, what would you do with the rest of them? You wouldare have toto think bigI with this amount of workers. Could that start some sort of chain of events?I might send them down the street to pick up trash initially, but I bet there are thousands of things that could be done if we had leadership in this country to truly motivate people to do more than just vote.

I wouldn't worry yourself about that, no one on welfare is going to show up anywhere for work. If they are being taken care of with food stamps, free health care, free housing, I think you will be waiting along time !!

Sad but true.. You wouldn't want to hide their WF check under their boots before giving them instructions on how to react. I just don't see a "how can we" type of attitude with the politicians. What if we seriously considered putting them to work. If nothing else we could make it mandatory that all new welfare cases were considered for a work program where the gov placed them in a facility or some mindless job where the half way decent ones could work their way up.

Heck anyone without a healthy savings account could find themselves on welfare. We don't teach and motivate our people to be leaders and to be constructive, we teach them to be sheep who look for employment to fall in their laps. When it doesn't happen the sheep just line up for help.

Welfare runs deep in some families and cultures. The children are raised to learn the system and how to work it the best way possible. It is sad to see children raised like this and to know nothing in life, but to work the system. Their are many people in the welfare system who could have given Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and even Steve Jobs a run for their money, but were taught to work the system instead by their ignorant and dumb parents who are a product of welfare.

Some people get burnt-out, go on WF and just take it easy for a while just to never get back up. i am sure there are a good number of lazy people, but there are many who just never knew there was another way to live their life or raise a family. When you are so low, things just seem unobtainable and you know what that is like. Some people were never taught to try harder to win, they only watched their role models cheat or lay down when the going got tough.

What if someone like Dave Ramsey created a program called "Get off of welfare" or "Stay off of welfare" and everyone started putting bumper stickers on their cars. Just like Dave's "Get out of debt" movement people can make this happen. They just have to be tired of it. How do you get tired of a free ride? Get a peek over the fence to the other side! See what life can be and want to change your family tree forever... Just like a wild animal is meant to be free so are people.
 
Huge tariffs on Chinese goods. Bring manufacturing back to the USA, and jobs would be plentiful. Of course, Tony, the $350.00 Harbor Freight engines will now cost you $700.00...lol

Hey George, we are only talking about people who have made a living out of welfare. I know that there are plenty of good people who have fallen on hard times in these economic down turns. I only wish that the people who really need the help get it, but as we know the far left count on these scum of the socieity to vote them back in.

There have been times when people I know personally were able to collect welfare and food stamps and just couldn't bring themselves to it. And I know that it was strictly pride that stopped them from doing it. There are millions of people in this country that feel we owe them something, and I think just like this young girl thinks, if u want us to pay u then u need to do something for it. That alone will stop the bleeding, because they will not get of their lazy ass to do it.
 
Yeah I get that about people voting themselves money. If people don't create jobs, the jobless will use the gov to just take money from the rich and the system will implode. Wait until they start taxing your savings account. Imagine the FDIC robbing people... lol
