I have been running 2 of these engines for over a year now and have had exceptional performance and have noticed a decrease in fuel consumption. its been ahrd to beat a honda, however i really like these kohlers as well and have thought about building my next machine with one

I would say in the last 5 years or more Kohler has really stepped up to the plate with their engines. The quality is really there and they are as quiet and start as easy as any Honda I have ever used. Plus your not bent over on parts like you are with a Honda--they are very protective of their dealer territories, Kohler is much more consumer friendly.

Love the kohlers because they are fuel injected. More and more states I go to to wash have that ethanol crap that the briggs won't run on due to carbs. My motorcycle won't run on the stuff.
