We did a bunch of the Sweetbay's for their grand openings. You can't use anything to harsh, we used a mild degreaser scrubed it into all the tile and grout lines. Then we ran the surface cleaners over it so to contain the overspray that a wand will create.
We turn the heaters on and get them really hot first so you have less water on the floor, then we turn down the rpm's and go at it. It works real well on removing the grease and dirt buildup in the grout.
All of these areas inside the store will have drains, just have a couple of guy's ready with floor squeege's to direct the water towards the drains or out the rear door. I also bring a large capacity wet vac in case things get out of hand.
Alot of the times you can up sell cleaning all the racks and stainless steel tables, bakery racks and carts, etc..This is usually not something that is done on a regular basis, for that reason alone you can make good money at it.
I charged Sweetbay $2500.00 to do the Bakery, Deli, Meat dept, Food prep area, Fish dept, and 2 large public Bathrooms. I am giving you this price because they are hard to estimate and i did the job by the hour $250.00 an hour for 3 men it took us 10 hours to complete
