Thats out of control, they should hire Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassettey take care of the other 3

Straight up the Salvation Army does the MOST for people. On Cape Hatteras Island NC in 2003 hurricane Isabelle cut the island in 1/2 for 9 weeks. Salvation Army was onscene and serving food in 10 hours. Other than the US coastguard they were the ONLY effective outreach program that helped the people survive and were there weeks afterwards when the red cross had long left.

When I was in school, the local print shop made my dad's business cards and invoices.

While there one time talking to the owners, they mentioned that their daughter just got a great job with the United Way and she is a sales person. I asked why that company to go to work for and the mother told me that her daughter will earn about 30% commission of what she brings in. No wonder they hit up all the refineries and large businesses each year. Wow! That adds up to a lot of money.

I remember the Scandal back in the late 80's about the United Way top guy earning about 600k and use of the private jet for personal reasons besides a lot of other perks. It is just incredible how much money goes there and what little comes back out.

I agree about the guy from Salvation Army, have him take care of the other companies also, probably will do a better job for hardly any money.

Thanks for the info, the Salvation Army will get my donations from now on.

Good info Nick. The Salvation Army is the only place I ever donate anything.

I read a couple of years ago a manager at a Goodwill Industries store in Oregon made over $300K after bonuses.

When I moved into my new home we bought all new furniture. I donated 5 rooms of real nice stuff to the Salvation Army, it's a real great charity and we have been donating to them for years. I remember Donald Trump talking about his mother as a child being helped by them and he has never forgotten that. The Don has charities all the time to raise money for them.
