Thanks for all the support folks but something is bothering me and we all need to work on it , PWI is and always will remain a FREE board , I know this sounds like a Ron speech but Ron has nothing to do with this , this is all me so if you have a problem with what I am about to say say it to me not to Ron , I personally as admin will NOT tolerate the bashing of any member of this board , I will give only one warning the I will give and infraction to you , if that does not work PWI will not be open to you, no name calling , no abusive language , nothing will be tolerated , if you have an oponion voice it , ask a question but no ..... absolutly no name calling or vulger profanity , these forums are searchable by the search engines and if you dont care what your potential customers see that is your business , but my business and most of the veterans who have spent hours here do not intend to be labeled with this type of behavior.

Thank you , lets all learn and do well as we have in the past , lets grow , lets move our industry forward and earn a living , I am here for you
 
10-4 Russ, I have found myself involved in confrontations on this board as well. But as you said, it certainly looks unproffessional to the consumers who search here..

Confrontations are welcome, professional ones with no personal attacking.

If you disagree with someone’s practice we here at PWI believe its ok to disagree.

So many bbs are pro this or that with no discussion.

I can imagine there are some downsides to using foam in certain applications? I’m certain that other bbs its one sided as well.

You see PIW is the only place that has no interest in anything specific. ( only that the best methods are found where ever they are)

If someone comes here expect not to defend your product or service, but don’t get all bent when the facts are displayed and you may have to answer some tough questions.

You may find that someone has a better method and that there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Yes it does when you dont act proffesional. I have had customer come and view as well.

I have a national chain that i have service for years inquire about foaming vents.

Too my surprize there a company out of cali that has been foaming air vents now for 6 years and then vaccums them. its a vent foam and then dries and they suck the stuff out. I will be going on a Demo this month.

Funny the guy from cali knows all the greaser here and does not foam hoods.
 
I just was checking I have been a member for 2.5 years almost... I remember almost everyone ont the TGP site.. Man I Love all the cool foaming videos and I like all the picture here of the concrete cleanings and the stuff Carolina pressure washer does and Ron and Russ with the Roof Cleanings and Apple Roof Cleaning.. I remember when I first came to this board I thought how great this was to have a whole big group of competitor's on one site , and everyone getting along.... It is still a great place .. I have good friends that are my competitor's in Jackson, MS and we got along just great.. I met a guy last week that I have known for years , I saw his fire equipment van at Waffle House so I stopped in and had a cup of coffee with him. We worth both out doing sales calls, Him for his company and me for my company.. I always stay cool around my competitor's because potential customers are watching.... Have a great night yall , I am at my house in Benton, MS tonight and the bad thing is I only have dial-up internet out here.. we are fixing to get hughes net out here as soon as we get time.. I just recently joined this forum after not participating as a member for exactly the reasons Russ is commenting on.

And I saw things get out of hand yesterday on an area of the board, to a level that bordered on unacceptable on a public forum.

With my new company brand, Roof Clean USA being listed, I hope everyone has the professional courtesy to remember that is not JUST their name they tarnish when someones says a Bigot or racist remark or any other crude remark.

It truly reflects on ALL of us.

I personally have little respect for those who blatantly use rudeness, and crass remarks for business as usual.

And to set an example I have chosen to change my Log In Name, Redneck Roof Cleaner, to something more acceptable.

I had originally taken the name as a joke as being up on the roofs make my neck red as heck, honestly.

But I don't want to give the impression that Jed Clampette is going to be pulling up in the hillbilly Mobile and performing the QUALITY of work expected by an outfit willing to go by the name of Redneck Roof Cleaner so I have taken personal responsibility to clean up my side of the street and that begins with a name change.

From here on out, we willingly want be formally known as Roof Clean USA

What about Your side of the street? Is your company image all it can be? Is it respected as an authority or a laughing stock?

I am personally working VERY hard to set an example of a hardworking, ethical, moral, value added company that goes ABOVE and beyond the call to give my customers the VERY BEST in service and Value for their money.

I want my company to be taken seriously and have spent a great deal of time and money to accomplish that goal and as such ask that we all be continuously mindful of our posts on this forum. Lets put our BEST foot forward.

Lets really pay attention to the comments made.

Yes, Each and EVERY one!

Because at the end of the day, you never know who might be reading them?

A customer, a child accidentally, maybe yours........ you do really never know who's watching or who's keeping tabs.

Why did you need Advil and sleep aids? You must have been giving entirely too much credibility to those that try to agitate. Many, though not all, of the largest agitators have the biggest hats, and no horses.
 
Well I signed on and read some of the things that have been posted that you might be referring to ....
I know it has definitely affected On how I view and post on this board.
Sadly it is even affecting my RT decision.
Hopefully, the board can be moderated better and change the direction and reputation that it is starting to acquire.

Al, the bbs is for the industry. Change it and post positive things if you dont like it.

Pray about the choice, thats what I do when decsions are difficult. I know your a christian and your convictions should be addressed.

NOW my opionion is that the only one who looses if you dont go is you. Its a Free networking event for the industry, theres nothing going on that you havent seen at the others you have attended and the ones you missed.

Maybe its and oportunity to address me or anyone else about your passions in person. (look at it like a oportunity)

Al if you dont come you will be missed, I'm sorry that you feel PWI is moving in the wrong direction. ( things often take time to heal)

Don't sweat the small things Al....

Truly Al, you shouldnt allow others to affect something positive for you.

Al, Please, give some specifics. Clarify what you're talking about. Good grief!

I guess nobody can disagree or ask questions about deception without being judged.

I'm glad I've got another judge.
