can anyone give me a price for the model (hd-655-h) max inlet temp 185? I can't find anyone local who carries it.

Personally I do not like even working on Karchers. Try an American brand like Alkota. All American, Hydroteck, Epps, Landa, or Tuff.

Ok this is what I need, small 110v machine, 1500 psi or close would like to have auto shut down but not necessary, and I need hot water seals, the kartcher claims 185 max temp.
How much to build this?

OK I need to clarify.
I need a cold water machine that I can run hot water through, for working in places I can't use a burner, the karcher machines seems to be designed with that in mind.

EVERY pump will accept water to 185 degrees. the only problem is that the expected life of the seals is severely shortened. Large frame pumps offer high temperature seal kits that will make them more resistant to the heat. But they cost a lot of money that will buy a few sets of seals.

Cat actually makes very good pumps that tolerate higher temperatures than most and they have much better parts and service availability.

With 110V the most you can expect is to get ~2GPM at 1500 PSI. This is not an effective way to clean as it requires a lot of time. Your option is to get a larger self-contained unit and a longer hose so that you can keep the machine outside and clean indoors with minimal problem.

Work with a local professional pressure washer dealer to determine exactly what will work for what you are cleaning.

Hope this helps? Cheers.

2 gpm 1500 works fine for what I am doing , I have been doing it for years with oil fired machines. longer hose could mean 1000ft or in case of reagan national airport about 1/2 mile.
I have a small machine I got from envirospec but it is just a toy in my opinion. It does the job, but I only get about 9 months from it before the motor needs replaced, gone through two of them so far.

Well then you should possibly look at getting a propane unit that is more fume friendly and quieter.

Or if the work is around 440V 3 phase then look at an all electric hot water unit; we make one that at 2 GPM and 1500 PSI will give 140+ degree heat rise all day at 48 amps on 440V.

Take a close look at your job and see if there are other units that can do the same job more efficiently, especially look for a local professional pressure washer dealer who can show you what options are available.

Hope this helps some more? Cheers.

I can pull up to the airport, load my equipment onto a cart, wheel it in, spend the next 5 to 6 hrs cleaning three restaurants and leave with $1500, what is not efficient about that? I have to run my pressure hose through the duct to get it to the roof, but even that is not that difficult.

Dirt Killer makes a 2000psi electric machine that accepts 180 degree water. The pump has stainless plungers and looks like an upright vacuum cleaner.
