k1 unloader

Question - The k1 unloader is rated for 2 - 10 gpm. Does anyone have any experience with that model? I've always used the k7's which have a narrow gpm range. I want to change my rpms up and down to get between 6 and 10 gpm and I'm wondering if the k1 will work.

Yes, it will. It operates in the gpm range you listed, regardless of how you get those gpm's.

It seems like the k1 replaces the whole k7 and k5 series, what's the reason for the other models I'm wondering?

I have had one on my 3000 psi/8 gpm rig (thanks again Russ) for over 1000 hours (about 1 year) with absolutely no problems.
