K-7 Unloader ?

My pressure trap unloader was going bad so I just switched to a K-7.3 unloader on my 8gpm x 3500 machine. I love how the K-7 acts when it does what it is supposed to do. After I first used it I had some problems with it "switching back" over to high pressure after I had my hand off the gun. So the dealer I bought it from sent me the smaller orifice 7.2 bypass. It helped but still I have issues with it not coming back out of bypass mode and giving me full flow every time I pull trigger. I am running 200' of 3/8" hose and they said that I really need to run 1/2" hose. Is there any other way to solve this issue? Should I just send it back and get a pressure trap unloader. Man I like the zero pressure left in the hose after letting off the gun.
