Joe Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $24,031.00.
Jose Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local Kchip at a cost of $0.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $18,031.00.
Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps and welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or $14,400.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $9,631.00.
Jose Illegal receives a $500.00 per month federal rent subsidy. Jose Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $ 31,200.00.

Joe Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400..00 for insurance. Joe Legal now has $7,231..00.

Joe Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.

Well put... IMO, the biggest problem is that people do not think it through and rationalize what we are doing. People think with their emotions and their first thought is "poor guy," to Jose....

Same thing with governmental spending. Let's give away free health care. THey don't understand that the money HAS to come from somewhere and it IS NOT FREE!
 
Well put Russ. But the biggest problem i have with it is,Most of the people on this board hire jose because he is paid penuts and the guy paying makes more money. Another thing is most people arent willing to do the work that jose is willing to do to feed his family. this is the biggest problem i face down here. Jose gets all the jobs because he cant argue his pay. he can get deported if he speaks out.Sad but true that is the new america. and the way things are going jose may be the smart one afterall.:frown:
 
Another problem is, there are legal documented workers that work for under the table money and do the exact same thing. When its truly cash under the table, the business owner will pay the taxes for it because he wont have documentation for that being an expense. Our money will become useless unless something drastic changes. I dont understand how this current system was ever expected to work. Maybe when it becomes law every citizen gets insurance, it will weed out who isnt a citizen and who shouldnt be here when they show up at the hospital.
 
So document HOSE, make him legal...Throw the employer in jail for abusing the system.

I have changed my views a bit over the last fews years.

I agree with the post in it tradition, however poor Joe is just paying to much to support all other countrys when we have starving children and familys right here.

I'm sick of support Africa and haiti when we have people living in sewers, others in vacant buildings for 25 years. And a City we cant aid or rebuild because we feel sending our money off shore is more important.

Wait...theres MORE----JOES money was spent on military defense that people in others country got Jobs from. Mean while we have people here un-employed.

Our Vice president moves his private for hire military to another country to avoid the payment of billions in fraud.

I want to be illigal, maybe I will give up my slave number and work off the record.

None of my past fathers came here for this!!!

I'll throw a few things out, just some thoughts

If we had kept our freedom here, which was the shining light to the world, we would be advertising for people to come over, just to keep up with production.

Maybe (absolutely) the big problem is every one of those programs that has no right to exist here - Jose didn't take anyones money, he just showed up for some free money (shocking)- think about who is doing the taking

Income tax is and always was only for non-Americans who work here (or Americans who earn money outside the country), so I say go back to doing it right - no American pays any income tax, only those who want to come and work, they pay a fee - simple.

We should be because this does stimulate the economy. New homes, cars DVD players, TV's food and all other things people want. GNP

No mexican is taking your job or mine, they might need some pressure washing if they get here legally. The problem is we have closed this country to legal imigrants.
 
Our families were all imigrants from somewhere else at one time. The big difference back then was people stuck together and built this country together. Now all they want from this country is the Perks!! They know just how to work the system and it's not just the mexicans, they just had a story on the food stamps down here.

You have bodegas and quickie marts cashing in there food stamps for beer & cig's and they get a kick back, the fleecing of America goes way beyond the mexicans.Everything needs to be fixed starting with the crooks on the hill. If we didnt have such a huge dependency on drugs in this country there would be no killings at our borders.

Put people away for life if caught dealing in drugs!! not a slap on the hand and released in 3 months. Things here will never change unless we get a strong bunch of people running this country and not the scumbags we have now that turn there head and put there hand out!!

The restaurants being raided Friday are in Scottsdale, Tempe and Mesa.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio says more than 50 employees working at the businesses may be using falsified or stolen identities to gain employment.
Calls placed to two of the McDonald's were not answered Friday morning.
Deputies also served search warrants at the Paradise Valley home of Richard Coulston. Arpaio says Coulston owns the restaurants.
Arpaio and County Attorney Andrew Thomas plan a news conference later Friday to discuss the case.​

They raided 4 McDonalds here today, 21 "Jose's busted. more raids are planned. I have several MCSO Deputy friends, even have had dinned with Sheriff Joe and his wife at their home in Fountain Hills. Sheriff Joe rocks, wish he would run for President.

Roll those deportation buses. Or maybe start deporting them with C47's, airdrop them over Mexico City. Return to sender. Maybe that will send a message to the millions more that are planning to steal our Countries Sovereignty ?

What wil happen to Mcdonalds. They Knew..the owners managers and everyone. They practice the tactics answering the questions correctly.

These are not drug dealers working at Mcdonalds, these are father and mothers looking for a better life.

You cant sell this to me anyway you would like to put it, I'm smarter and know My uncle now takes advantage of Mexican workers in Mexico because of the strict border he now hires people for less than 3 dollars and day and brags.

Mean while its the largest packing plant in the south and supplies half the US with meat.

Big Business Moved your JOB out of this Country...Mexicans Didnt take them.

Working the system is right!!! Tried hiring someone from a "lower income neighborhood". Supposedly this person didn't have a high school diploma... But was willing to work for $15 CASH. Couldn't make more than X dollars because he wouldn't receive his "support". Plus he received social security for his "liver condition" that prohibits him from working... But not playing league basketball or softball...

Wonder what "conditions" I qualify for?

Good points, Ron. We offer a different level of employment - we are a SKILLED LABOR country. We cannot compete with unskilled labor at any level. We offer new technology instead of the labor to physically build the technology. It is not economical for us to build everything here.

The problem is we are trying to support everyone!!! Latin American governments failed because of populism... And we are following the same example. We cannot afford to help everyone. We should have policies to encourage people to help themselves.
 
Make them legal and they too can pay taxes etc. I hired a Mexican guy (Jose) and he worked his butt off for me. I gave him a bonus for a job and didn't give one of my son's a bonus because he didn't deserve it. I made the mistake of telling this to my wife. Man she was pissed at me. He used to call me all the time looking for work. I am thinking about looking him up again because I am getting busy again. i do not know if he is legal but he has been in the U.S. for over 8 years. If I run into him again I will help him get legal if wants to and will not hire him again until he does so. All I am saying is, if they want to enjoy the best place in the world that we were lucky enough to be born in, help them become a citizen and make our country stronger and better for it.

Josh, this is just a bad person , what about my grandfater and grandmother who traveled here and didn't milk the system.

This is like saying all people are bad. I don't buy it, I have hired workers to clean and landscape my yard in the past . Very hard working folks

In no way am I saying all people are bad. And it is not my place to say whether this person is bad or not.

But this DOES take Jose to the next step. Our current sytems facilitates the behavior I discusses above. I know there are hard working people out there. I hate that they have to support Jose illegal and the guy I interviewed...
