Hey guys Using a Fire hose off a Trash Pump ok, using a Fire house of a System that has been armed is Dangerous for many reasons.

Showing Pollution Like this is reckless and can be contained and not made into more but less.

These Methods are wrong, they are not the way to be environmentally correct.

The PWNA with Jim as a Representative is walking a Wire, its only time before a Contractor or a system gets Shut down and the damages Head back there Way.

I clean Garages also More often and frequent than Jim, many of you did not know because I do not announce it like many other things I do.

I do not send this Message because I do not Like Jim, I do not want the public or contractors to think this is the way others Operate.

Come out to Octobers Event and See, Jim & the PWNA is also invited to see how cleaning can be done Safely.

We want everyone to know how to handle waste properly and not create nightmares that will damage the industry. Yes I will buy JIm's way again to Learn the proper methods Like in 2008 & 2009 when he was starting and came to national CLeaning Expo Round tables.

Michael Hinderliter Ban Scott Stone doesn't create more Credibility for you, only makes you look Jealous. Please do not tell us you do not own the BBS. That would only be more BS, you claim you want a professional BBS with no Drama but that means if anyone disagrees with you then they are Banned. Glad the industry is Clear, no opinions on PWC.

Mike Every place Robert has helped changed there BMP's and there ways eventually, some with much damage to the industry while the incorrect information was originally given. Even your own City Changed it ways!!! Do not try its the Third Phase CRAP and we knew about it, they changed because they realize its wrong. PERIOD

When does this Insanity of Miss information STOP!!!!!!!

These PWNA BMPS are not the same today, they have been Changed. Ft. worth Today have different BMPs and rules. They not off this Model and they do not use them.

OUR we as Industry Members going to Keep this going?

You have Few guys Standing up and saying these few People who have no real interest in our industry are running around with ORG authority Attempting to promote Tougher Guidelines that are not even more environmentally responsible.

The regulators themselves see it, they Talk here about it through Email with Each other.

The PWNA has married itself to Robert and Jim.

The fact that a PWNA board member just kicked Scott Stone off his board for daring to bring up the dangers of the kinds of things Jim promotes is further proof of that.

It has become the blind leading the blind.

Did Scott get banned for advising people not to pull water from a fire suppression system. I cant believe any property owner would allow a contractor to disarm the first line of defense in case of a fire if it is even legal to do so. It is a very bad use of judgment to put yourself or company in a potentially liable situation.

For the Record How many garages have you cleaned in your Life? Do you know

Amazing photography showing clean water and dirty water like that...

Come on Tony, the PWNA is IMO owned by Robert and OR Michael...their is no marriage.

There were a couple of things that I noticed from the video.
First, there was not a single powered surface cleaner that I saw, that Jim claims he uses. Not one. They were all steel eagles. I don't have a problem with that, except for perpetuating a myth.
Second, I have never been able to see a surface cleaner move that fast, or that type of swivel last at temperatures that are 80 degrees above their rating.
Third, the drain pipes were different drain pipes. Anyone that cleans parking garages knows that the roof is always cleaner than anywhere else in the garage. It would have been more truthful if we saw a large quantity of water coming from the same down pipe, without a break.
Fourth, in the initial sequence, a helper was barehanding the hose, at what is purported to be 300 degrees
Fifth, he claims 60 GP through an inch and a half fire hose, which is less then half the amount of water that should be coming out.
Finally, I admire his filtration trailer. It is entirely unnecessary for parking garage cleaning. It is so much over kill. The cities are worried about stuff that can clog the sewer system. Large amounts of grease clog them, and large amounts of dirt clog the systems. As long as the oil and debris are suspended, they are perfectly fine going down the sanitary sewer. That is why some cities, such as Ft. Worth recommend things like 400 micron filters.

However, if you need to scare someone into using your services, that is the way to do it.

I would just like to know what you can really clean at 300 degrees. I only say this, because when Iwas in the 6th grade we did an experiment with water. The water never made it to 300 degrees. The reason was that the water started to boil at 212 and evaporate. Now I'm no scientist, but at 300 degrees would mean the water would be in a gas state and would cause serious burns. So my conclusion to this is simple Jim is full of SHI*!!!!! Just like the PWN*

He has a fake temperature guage set at 300 degrees. I'll make one, set it at 325. Just keep feeding these clowns the rope, they will eventually hang themselves with it.

If you look closely it is 2 different garage systems, it is not the same drain, 2 different garages.

Bryan, At normal atmospheric pressure, water can exist in gaseous form (i.e., steam) at any temperature at or above 100 C. In other words, 100 C is the boiling point for water at 1 atmosphere of pressure.

However, if you decrease the pressure, the boiling point will go down, meaning water can boil (and become steam) at a lower temperature. Increasing the pressure raises the boiling point. That is the reason the 800 HP engines used in NASCAR can run at around 240 degrees for 400-500 miles without blowing up. I believe 260 is putting them in danger of blowing up. They pressurize the cooling system to obtain those temperatures maximizing engine performance. I am by no means taking sides with Jim G. on this issue. There is no way to reach 300 degree temps and manhandle a hose barehanded as Scott S. stated. Besides if the water was that hot he would be restriping the area's he cleans. I agree with you that in fact he is full of it.
