It worked for Spanish, now Arabic

Years ago Spanish was the second language of choice in public schools. Good thing too, because now Mexicans have taken over a good portion of the country.

I wonder what the trend below is preparing us for?........


An upper Manhattan public elementary school will be the first in the city to require that students study Arabic, officials said yesterday.
Beginning next semester, all 200 second- through fifth-graders at PS 368 in Hamilton Heights will be taught the language twice a week for 45 minutes — putting it on equal footing with science and music courses.

Je ne savais pas que, quand j'etais en France, que tout les Algerians et Arabes j'encontrais parler le langue du future. Ahh d'avoir les trente ans qui sont passe depuis j'etais la bas.

At least i did not have to use an internet translator. My french is mighty rusty. I might need to make a trip there next summer.
