This is part of an email that was sent to my childrens school board in Tallahassee about my services by a roof cleaning company that I had a "misunderstanding" with.

Interesting it was, I was most interested in the whole "illegal" statement. Some companies may say these things to your customers.
 
LOL, I'd care less about the "illegal" part of it. Feel for ya, I'm in the middle of my 2nd lawsuit of the year.....it just ruins you on people in general. Makes you not trust the good ones. Not a roof guy---I'll let you guys debate the veracity of that claim. I was more interested in how it came about.

I don't have to look over my shoulder, I am well respected in my community. I think these situations will show a persons true colors. I think pride took over and it got out of control. I just wonder what some companies will say or do to make another look bad.

There is NO end to it Tim.
I got into a "pissing match" with a company over a small community of 100 tile roofs.

This idiot claimed I "ripped them off" because I diluted my Chlorine, and he would have applied it straight.

Seriously, he almost kept me from getting paid!

He claimed he could have won the bid if he "watered his stuff down" like I did.

The bid did spec the use of Chlorine, but thank God it did not spec the strength.

He did succeed in making me look bad, for awhile.

I actually had to go out, and SHOW the HOA what pure Chlorine can do to paint, grass, gutters, etc, etc.

I was using Borax back then, and told them that yes, I diluted my mix to sensible levels, but added a Biostat to keep it clean longer.
