The end of my season has about 2 months left. Those who have a 6 month season what do you do about insurance in the off season? I have my account setup in 4 quarterly installments. I asked for a 6 month season but was told they don't offer that. ( I have Walters ) Do you cancel it for the off season or keep making your installment? Are you penalized for canceling for the winter? Will the current insurance co. let you start a policy again in the spring? This is my first off-season so not to sure about how the insurance works.

Not a lot different than weather other places that have winters. We melt a lot of ice dams in the Winter months and shovel roofs too.

It a lot of times in the long run its cheaper to keep your policy going continuously as opposed to say 6 months

Check both prices out- You don't want to shut yourself out of potential work because you don't have a policy in place

You never know- you may get an indoor job or something
