Info For My Greaser Friends

Apple Roof Cleaning

Roof Cleaning Instructor
In doing research into thickening agents for roof cleaning chemicals I came across this http://www.masonsurfactants.com/Products/Masurf_NF_10.htm

This stuff is STABE in Sodium Hydroxide and Alkaline Chemicals.

Don't know MUCH about what you greasers want - and maybe foam is all you need ?

But this stuff will THICKEN your cleaning chemicals up w/o loss of cleaning power.

Far too often I hear of folks dumping ANY old soap/emulsifiers into their cleaning chemical mix.

The result is the chemicals FIGHT each other.

Just THINKING about you guys :)

Hope it helps you ?

Chris

Thanks Chris:)
Welcome Matt :)
Don't know IF what I am looking at will be of any use to you guyz ?
But ya never know ?
ONE stuff we are looking at is WEIRD :D
It emulsifies your mix but sprays like a liquid. then jells up on contact
Weird Stuff. KINDA expensive too for roof cleaners like me making up LARGE 300 gallon batches of chemicals at a time.

But maybe it could be an addition to Foam for you Guyz ?

Imagine simply being able to walk in a place with a spot or backpack sprayer. shoot the cleaning liquid. and have it stick like Foam as it jells up soon as it hits the duct/hood ?

W/O all the Foam apparatus ??

I am looking at this stuff for my roof cleaning guyz

Don't think it is economically right for us.

HOW much TOTAL mixed chemical solution do you Men use on an average job ?
I know NOTHING about Hood or Duct Cleaning. other then you guys use and spray chemicals

Chris,
That might work well in a graffiti remover, or in wood restoration???
Yeah ... I am playing with - or have ordered sampoles of LOTS of cool stuff :)
I will share what I discover - meaning my "accidents" with everyone :D

I would THINK that an increase in dwell time will be good for any cleaning application ?
