I use a ball valve alot,..but by itself. For my taste there isn't enough of a handle on the ball valve alone to grasp with higher pressure nozzles. I also prefer the angle the trigger handle provides,better ergonomics than my wrist can provide. But if you like it,..it will save you on trigger handles.

Absolutely right. I don't use it all the time specifically for the reasons you mentioned. I Have arthritis and it's difficult to hold onto for with high pressure for a long time. Like it especially for concrete jobs. Big tips soaping and rinsing. Stick it in your pocket.
