Idea for Las Vegas

I would love to see this happen, not only in Las Vegas but all conventions if it is not done already. Was not done in Vegas when I attended 3 years ago.

Demo products, namely surface cleaners, all brands, all sizes, all styles so us guys who use them can get our hands on them for testing.

I personally have only used the one I own, Big Guy 28" from Whisper Wash Corp.

I would love to try them all out, some say those that float work best, others say this one or that one.

Think you can get this to happen?

It's really up to the manufacturers/distributors that are on hand. In the past, there have been live demos, and they let you try it.

Elite did it at one of the fall shows.

The real problem in making something like that happen is getting the equipment to the show. But, like I said, its pretty much up to the exhibitors.

Hey Jon,
Great Idea. I would like to see them do this at the Pitt. Convention in the fall. I have the Elite 30" surface cleaner along with the 24" wirl-a-way surface cleaner(A good cheap surface cleaner that cost less then $600 new but can't handle hot water)

Even though I like the look of the Landa Water Jet and I think Landa makes the best PW's, I would match up my big 30incher against any other surface cleaner made. The thing I don't like about the Landa Cleaner is that big eyesoar adjusting hump on the surface cover and you can't go under benches with that hump. Plus I would take a medal cover over plastic anytime.

As for that side wand on the Water Jet you could put that on any surface cleaner by just adding another Quick connect set up. Once again I rather not even have this side wand because after I use my surface cleaners I break out the wand afterwords to complete the job.

Another reason to have a deminstration at the conventions so we can see what is really the best..

Mike yes it is up to the exhibitors however is it not up to the Sponsor of the show to speak up and mention what they would "like" or "appreciate" seeing at the show.

In other words if no one mentions to them we would like to see live demo's so our members and guest can test before they buy how would they know that is something to do?

Many, in fact most exhibitors have booths, I recall the few demo's in Vegas, a dry ice demo, the Vadar, and one other if I am right, not counting the seminars and the hands on learning from them.

Just like when we speak with a customer, if we do not know what they want how do we know what to clean?

Whomever at PWNA is responsible for the planning and setting up of these conventions needs to inform those planning to have booth what the members and non-members desire to see above and beyond the products.
