I was robbed!

This year I had a tool box with over $700 worth of tools stolen and on a job site I had cones stolen that were surrounding a manlift to keep people from driving into it.

It is a shame that people will steal other's tools and work equipment, we all wish we could catch them in the act and give them a good old ass beating, problem is I might not be able to stop.

I have been lucky. The only thing thing i ever had stolen was a 5 gallon gas can. Of course that doesn't count employee theft. Kinda funny 6 years and only a gas can stolen from random thieves but thousands stolen from "trusted" employee's.

Most of these petty thieves do it for the thrill of it, the rush, like a skydiver. Because there's a a slight brush of jail time, or even death. That's why when these punks get caught they need a good azz whoopin. There a case pending in Jersey where this bad azz guy caught 2 young thieves trying to steal his car. He put a rear naked choke on one guy and killed him. Pounded the other guy into a permanent wheel chair. They're pondering whether he used excessive force.

Mine and my girlfriends cars had our windows busted out several weeks in a row, each time to no avail to the person who has done it since neither of us keeps anything except seats in our cars.

That is happening much less since I got my new Beretta Px4 though, which is a shame. "It would be worth them doing it, just so I could catch em'"

I had someone break into my truck in may to steal my stereo. Caused about $2500 in damage, plus a new stereo/DVD/gps. The one they got was 5 years old. I would bet it's current value was less then $250.

That sucks Chris, we had a gps and the loose change stolen from our truck earlier this year. It must have been 5 years old but it worked nice. I bought a tomtom to replace it...pfft piece of junk.

I guess this is the people without taking from the people who have. Actually this is just like Obama planned it so just deal with it, this is the way things are going all over. We had our crap taken at least 4 times since in buisness, now I lock my truck if I am 3 feet away from it....Live & Learn.

I've never locked my truck doors at home before. Heck there have been many nights when I left my keys in the truck. Thats changing now.

We just moved into a new subdivision in the country and I have heard of trouble like this around here, so I guess I knew what to expect. We're supposed to have a security system installed on the house this weekend.

Get yourself a 12 gauge pump. Remove the plug and load 6 shells in it. Then when you hear some shit going on make sure when you pump it they are in earshot. Shortly after you pump it, well you know what to do from here...

I guess I have been pretty lucky. All I had stolen was two 5-gallon gas cans off my trailer after I went inside a Burger King. Didn't touch the surface cleaner or ladder...whew!

I do have a trusty 870.

Ive always been told never to pull a gun on someone unless you intend to shoot them. And shoot them quickly. Knowing my luck if I pulled a gun on someone to intimidate them they would shoot at me!!!!

Haven't you seen the price of gas lately? That 5 gallons of gas was worth thousands.

Had all four tires slashed on the brand new 3/4 ton Silverado.
