I think oil leek

Hey guys have question?
Ok cat pump 45g when I run it I find some oil on top of the of the pump head. What would make that do that.

I have a landa but I have change out the o-ring on the dip stick.
The oil swells the rubber it wasnt sealing it when tighten. But not sure if this is your problem of oil getting by the o-ring.

are you saying motor oil. my problem is that it is pooling were the brass head meets the pump body.

Where the tip stick on the pump is, that is where I had a problem with the oring being worn,
It had leak on the top of the pump all round the tip stick, But didnt reach the brass head due to the fins it has for cooling

Also, make sure you are using a non detergent oil. Detergent oil has a tendency to foam. I am not certain that it could cause this, but it seems it would.

First, check the oil level and quality. If it's overfull and milky, water is getting in the crankcase and mixing with and displacing the oil.
