I called my customer for KEC for the second cleaning due. He tells me The inspector came and said it, "needs to be cleaned immediately, call this company and they will do it tonight" So they did. Turns out the other company is on the fire dept and does hoods on the side. I love the scare tactic to get my work... oh well. now that I think about it That town is all good ole boys, let em have each other.

That is a shame that happened, I wonder if that inspector can lose his job or if he has a license, lose that as well for doing that kind of thing to the customer.

I bet the customer could have had you come out if they thought about it, maybe the price was cheaper like in most cases.

That's what I'm thinking. It was cost. Oh well. Its a tough roof to be on . No sleep loss for me.

Good point. January would have been the next scheduled job. I will see if I get a call back. When I was living in PA my KEC was doing well, But Here in Florida its a whole different game. I cant afford to do it at what MOST of these places want to pay, so I don't. I have a bottom line also. One of my customers told me my prices are good and the average. hopefully my Pressure washing stays busy and I can give up KEC, or just do it when I get called for it. Hows things in Jersey. It keeps you running in Circles?

I would not wait for a callback, unless you really dont care to do business with this guy, which may be the case..I would let things die down a bit and pop over there for an impromtu visit..You know you were in the area and just wanted to say hi..While your there you just wanted to confirm January's cleaning..You will get your answer..

things are good in NJ..But there are unethical owners and lowball PW's everywhere..I know the NE is different from the south but hold the line on your price!..
