My plasma in my Living Room took a crap after 7 devoted years so I went to Best Buy today and picked up another new Samsung LCD 1080p WOW....I now have 3 Samsung's and they are awesome TV's, I highly recommend them:eek:k:
 
We have had a 52" LCD in teh family room for about three years now. My wife recently announced that she wants an LED TV now.
 
Led is nice but for the price difference I dont think It warrants it. My Plasma was an awesome picture and I think this LCD is as good?
 
I can currently buy an LED for less than I paid for the LCD. So far I have kept Mama happy, I don't know about this one, though.

You were in the big city. We only had 4 channels. We had to adjust the aluminum foil on the rabbit ears to get the 4th!

And all the channels signed off about midnight.
 
I was in Sams Club last night looking at the tvs. Saw a few of the LED tvs and they just did not look at good as the Samsung LED tv I saw in BestBuy a few months ago, I believe it was the first one out.

Then I got to looking, they were LED back lighted LCD tvs. I'm sure some people are buying these things thinking they're true LED tvs. The true LED tvs will be super thin.

I'm waiting on the price to drop a little on the LED tvs, it won't be much longer.
