I just wanted to brag about my standings while they last. We have 26 teams in the league and I’m hanging on to first place.

My kids are working hard. I had 5 home runs last game and my kid that hit 4 out of the park was not even at the game. My 72 pound kid cracked one.

We have a few games left and then the payoffs.

Thats great. Alan Do you help coach? what age group are the mustages?

Ron,
No I do not coach, as they have a full staff, but I do handle the wash service that the complex needs.
My son is in Pinto, which is 7-8, and Mustangs are 9-10. He will be Mustang for winter ball.

BAseball is great, I love helping and coaching. Its the best thing I've probably ever have done. I wish it paid!!!!!!! that would be a dream........

I have a boy named Ashley whos a first timer. His Father has cancer and wont live long. In the game yesterday the boy hit twice and batted left handed. I threw him for the first time and he struck out three batters & walked only two. we won 23 to 1.

this is what makes everything we do worth it.

That is one way to make a proud Dad. You know if you were getting paid, it wouldn't be fun anymore.
Although in a sense you are getting paid, the things these kids learn are priceless. And even though this is Baseball, they learn much more while they play and practice. They will remember you forever.

I still think i could enjoy getting paid. Your right the kids learn so much, i remember all my coachs. Some of them more than others good and bad.

I wonder if we are the only Dads in baseball? No one else?

Not sure, guess we will have to wait and see. I recall Dan S saying that his kid is more into girls and cars nowadays.

I had Four crying and parents upset too. 13&1 and people are mad about one Loss. Parents are amazing....Oh well... we are the allstar team for the sectionals and we can do better then i guess.

Kids did have fun, we lost a scrimmage game saturday to and older group of boys. well see what happens on Monday nights practice game.
