I have not done anything with website in 10 years

What does that site do for you? I know you have other sites that are more active for you and are only used by your customers, but why even keep this one open?

When I saw the title of this thread I got excited thinking the mystery was going to be revealed!

I just went to your home page, the only buttons that work are the home page and the bulletin board, the other buttons go to pages that are under construction.

Are you going to finish them or just stick to what you are doing? Just curious.
I have wondered the same thing in the past..

I will update the site sometime this year, the site works.

I have gotten more calls from the site in the last 6 months than all 10 years the sites been up.

Funny, youtube is leading the race. Combined between the BBS and the websites the other directorys I get phone calls weekly.

www.pressurenet.com gets me calls as well.

Get a site, no matter how bad the site is. IT WORKS

I will never finish the site, the newer site might be alot simpler than this one.

I'm not into 1000 page websites. I want the customer to contact me through the site. I still want to sell them the old fashion way.

If you have other sites that are finished, why not just redirect them to that one? I agree though, get a website no matter what. And I will add to that, MAKE A asdfoighai no matter what. I have shown people in the past how to make a aapsodifvn without even having a website and they got business from it.

Google owns Youtube...they love themselves, you will be ranked very high if adfiojuvnafuap;ifjubn. For instance, ....ah, nevermind my competition may be reading this.

Will talk in Vegas, that why i love meetings.

Ron, I've used your site in conversations with contractors (and other business owners) who spend too much time worrying about all the little details in their website.

The fact still remains that the four f's  FACE, FONE, FAX and FLYERS - in that order - gets commercial work (in my experience)

Combinations like FACE/FLYER and FAX/FONE/FACE seem to have the best results. Even FACE seems to always trump email.

That's just my experience.

Can someone tell me what asdfoighai, aapsodifvn, and adfiojuvnafuap;ifjubn mean? :D

Ron, I would at least update the contact page. You know you don't need a 1000 page website but the more pages with your company name and location (doesn't have to be exact location) gets you higher in the searches. Nowadays customers are simply typing in "Concrete cleaning, Your town, State" in the search line to get companies' websites. Definitely the replacement for yellow pages.

Hey Ron, when i am on the NCE page it cuts off some of the info on the left side. Mostly the Round Tables Esat column. Is that a problem with the site, or with my computer? I gave you a screen shot below.

Scott, I just left you a vox msg. on you phone.
Turn the stereo down so you can hear the phone ring, man.

Uuuuh, I'm in Iraq. Celeste probably stepped out of the office.

well, sorry about that bro, didn't know.
I left the info and contact person for Harcos chemical, for ya.
I'm not on the BB's that often and usu. make a round at once, on each of them.
So, she has the info then and can set it up with them when she wants.
They are much cheaper than altivia and univar and are local, and will do liftgate resi deliveries.
Hope that helps.
Again, didn't know you are overseas. so , sorry, but there ya go.
adios

Its no problem. I just thought you knew I was here. Thanks a lot for getting us the info, because I couldnt find the info online. Do you know of any other vendors in the area for equipment?

yea I posted them on the Uamcc site on the hello thread.
But they are not that great. And they on the further north end of town.
Not the best of inventory.
I have just been sticking with my online mainstays.
Except for Harcos as they have stripper and brighteners in bulk as well as the 12%.

off topic... when will you be back to the states. We should try and meet sometime as we have tossed each other leads before but not yet had a cup of joe.

Plus would still love to try my hand at putting together an RT or box lunch meeting together in Houston.

I found Alklean in Pasadena, but havent used them yet. I called and got to know the owner a little and they seem like a solid company, but again, I havent done business with them personally. I plan on stopping into their shop while im home, just to get a feel for them .

Ill have boots on the ground 28 April for 15 days, then again in August/September. I would have a hard time setting it up from here, but if you set something up between 28 April and 12 May, I will definately come. What my goal is, is to have a monthly meeting, just an hour or so at a central location to discuss our markets, advertising, etc....With as big as our market is, a large group of us working together and setting trends could really go a long way.
