Someone broke into my truck and stole my stereo last night. Also took my old ipod, with the dea battery, but left the new one that was in the same place. Jerks punched the lock to get in. Coppette is here now dusting everything up, trying to get prints. Must be a run of these going on in this neighborhood, otherwise, they would have just taken a report over the phone.

Grr!! Then a lab attacked my little dog last night. I have had some serious highs and lows over the past 24 hours.
 
Sorry to hear that Scott, look on the bright side it can all be replaced. hopefully the dogs in one piece, could be worse. My son got into his first accident Sunday, the drunk who hit him again had no insurance. Thats the third time I have been hit by non-insured drivers. Damage was minimal he was shook up and couldn't get him back in the car to drive. He still refusing to drive the 350, I don't think he is afraid of getting hurt the truck sent the drunk and his buddy to hospital.

A lesson for him the hard way, he is now realizing a 9,700 pound truck can kill people. Here's the kicker my insurance could get hit for these guys medical. All depend on how they fight the ticket they got for shooting out of the bar across the lanes to get t-boned by my truck.

Top that Off I'm not taking my rig to KY, yes I was towing my rig as a surprise to KY roundtable to show it off. LOL Tornados scared me!!!!!

I'm sorry about your truck, I know the violation your feeling.

Seems this week has its ups and downs.

That's terrible Scott.

I can't believe all the corruption going on anymore. I bought a used pick up truck the other day and bargained them down $750 because it had some front suspension stuff that needed them done costing me around $1400 while I was in there taking care of the paperwork they took the spare wheel, jack, gas cap, and owners manual.

It was a 70+ year old man and wife that ran the dealership and there 19? year old kid ran the lot. They seemed like nice folks and I felt good doing business with a place like this until I found out what they did.

I went down there to get my spare since it's against the law in the first place and they also had a photo of the spare in the rear shot on there web-site. They went in the back and gave me a used tire and a rim and sent me to BIG O to get it mounted. The guy at Big O said they are always hearing complaints about them. The jack was never replaced it's worth about a $100.00.

Life has it's ups and down's...
 
I just noticed last night my .45 is missing from my truck. I just went and filed a report just in case some crack head murders someone with it.
 
Well maybe they were jogging today listening to your oldies on the ipod and ran unknowingly right in front of a bus and got smashed into the concrete so bad that the city calls you up to rinse the road down.You end up making double your loss back on the job and you go out and get a brand spanking new Ipod.

Sorry for the graphic stuff but I HATE theives.

You might hate thieves, but I love your twisted way of thinking!
 
A few years ago I cought a thief in my truck ripping out my radio. Unfortunaly for him it was deer season and I pulled a shotgun on him. Do you know he actually tried to get away. A shot over his head stoped him in his tracks. Oh I forgot to tell you I missed and hit him with a few buckshot in the legs. Cop told me I should have took him out. Hes a drug attic and a loser.
 
I thought once Walmart started selling stereos the stolen stereo market would dry up...
Seriously, who buys used/stolen car stereos these days? I couldn't imagine a thief moving enough product to make a night of breaking into cars worth it...
I had someone steal from both my wife's car and mine one night. They ran off with our mp3 players that were older than technology holds value. Originally we may have paid $100 for both, but after 3+ years no one wanted 56MB or less of storage space!
 
Sorry to hear about that Scott, I have had similar luck.

Last month they stole my tool box from in the bed of my truck while it was in the back yard, pitch black outside and between 4am and 10am.

This morning I get to the apartment complex and find out that the 12 parking cones I left there to warn people there is a manlift there are not there. I look all over and they are nowhere, I guess the college kids needed them more than I did. They are about $20 each and last month the tools were about $700 so that is almost $1000 stolen from me in the past month. That really sucks!!!!!!!!

I talk to the apartment manager and explain things and ask if I would be reimbursed and she tells me no as they had told me that anything left there would probably be stolen. I was just trying to block the manlift so nobody drives into it and damages it. Crappy way to start the day.
