I actually did create some good will with a customer. Today I was performing some Pressure Washing in Wernersville PA, but after I finished I noticed how ugly and green the front porch and sidewalk looked. I figured it would be a nice gesture to just clean the thing for free. Only took me 5 minutes, but what it did was add value to my service. the homeowner was already thrilled with her house being rid of the green mold and dirt that when she saw she got the 5x10 patio washed as well as the 3 slabs of sidewalk that led to her black top cleaned she was moved to ask me about her deck as well as her roof and some painting duties. all of which I closed for early next weeks schedule. I never cleaned the extras for free with the intent of getting more work because it really bothered me that such a small area would be dirty looking and take away from what I had just done. I thought it was cool. The photos of the vinyl was all I could get. It was crazy bright up in PA today.

We always clean the sidewalk leading from the house to the driveway or sidewalk with every housewash.You would be suprised home many people see it and notice how dirty thier driveway looks afterwards and tell us to go ahead and clean it too.

We do that too..along with the mail box, patio furniture,etc...it's the litlle things they see you clean that are not part of the bid that keeps em coming back.

Mailbox thats very good idea lots of mailboxes are really dirty.I had a lady request me to clean hers as we left a house wash last week.

I forgot to mention this lady was a Craigslist ad client. Now thats a good ROI huh?
