This is the kind of thing they put outside overpriced ranch houses in expensive retirement communities. Plastic lights that dry rot and fall apart if you breathe on them. Big PITA around here. This is what happened to the light when I hit it with a soap nozzle from about 3 feet away.

Those are so brittle often they can't stop breaking them just changing the bulb. Like guy says head to the light Store.

I would have gotten and online catalog and ordered it right there for them. If you had to come back when the light came in not really a big deal.
