Hydrant Hook-up - I need your help.

I need to setup my trailer and water tank to have an air gape to be able to connect to a hydrant hose.

They are requiring that it has an air gape. I have a pretty good idea what I need to do but I'm not sure how to stabilize the pvc piping. If anyone has pictures it would help me out a ton. Thanks fellas!! and go Broncos!! :happydance:

Conduit strapping from the electrical department. It wraps right around the plumbing and holds the pipe in place. You really just need two straps, usually.

That is not a bad design.

You could put a similar support from the ground up on the other side of the tank and connect it with a "T" on the first side of the tank crossing over the tank and have another "T" right over the tank opening with an elbow going down but not inside the tank so when you want to cover the tank with the lid you can. If you have the crossover high enough so the "T" and elbow is just above the lid of the tank then you will not need additional support as the crossover will have support from both sides of the tank.

That was very creative, congratulations.

It looks cool. There is extra expense in the T's. I need to get a picture of one of mine. I have five 90 Elbows and it is S shaped, sort of.

Kory,
Thats what we did for years.

Jeremy,
I can understand what you are saying. We have all the connections to go from 4 inch to 2 inch. I will say I have never timed it. We had a trailer with a 1000 gallon tank on it and that was the one we mainly used the 4 inch hose to fill. Otherwise we used the 2 inch.
