That's some scary stuff...you guys that are in the path of this monster be safe. And/or get out of there.
Yeah, the Gulf Of Mexico is warm this time of year :(
This baby will BE a Cat 5, or a BIG Cat 4, nothing to stop or weaken it in the Gulf, except Oil Rigs.

Sitting 100 miles North of Galveston-- One never knows where it'll hit hard untill it's fairly close -- they can slide around a bit when nearing the coast or slow down or???...

We lost power for quite a while after Katrina. Entergy had us all screwed up...

It's nice living out of the big city but we pay for when the utility co's are too stressed out.

I hope all stays well for our neighbors & everyone in the Gulf Coast Area!

Looks like a rough ride though!

Im ok also 90 miles north of you.....As long as it doesn't turn we should just get rain.....

I am 30 miles north of New Orleans......getting some rain and a little breezy right now..........hope the power stays on for the rest of the night

Hang in there Bill. I think your in for a rough ride. Be safe! :)

Bill your nutz

Well, it's 50 miles offshore right now. We're getting very little effect right now, I just walked outside to let my dogs do their biz, the damn concrete on my driveway is still dry. It's starting to stall out a little bit....not good, could be building up steam.
