How NOT to pressure wash new concrete!

I came upon this sight as I'm walking up to stain the fence pretty new house 6 months or so. This was the finish work of the post construction clean up. I've seen him cleaning other driveways/sidewalks before they close on new homes.This has to be the worst I ever seen!

There would be GREAT pics for the guys that clean concrete to use on ya'll web site on what not to do it!

I know what you mean I've see these guys cleaning driveways using only water no chems!

It's pretty sad to see new concrete look like this at a new 200 K house!
 
Wow, that's what you get paying the cheapest person to do the work, or someone that is a "professional at everything" I hope they have to pay to remove the sidewalks and repour them that would stop that from happening again. But you never know the person might come back to get a really good looking after shot then lol

On something like that you need to give David a call. You can probably stain the concrete and get a uniform look back while sealing it at the same time. Just another opportunity for you to make money.

If your question was Serious We are having a hard surface sealing and a concrete restoration.

Some guys are working on the sealing and others are working on restoration part. As you can see the two will tie into each other with some aspects.

Any Help on the wood thats completed is appreciated. Love to have you take the test and tell us how it can be improved?

Concrete cleaning and gum removal is probably the most widely done portion of pressure cleaning industry with year round commercial focus .i think it would carry more weight to be showing other businesses,franchises ,property managers a organizational certification with a focus towards concrete . Showing a residential person a certifcation doesn't do much but it helps .Why focus on wood and roofs ? A Wood certification is too ambiguous. 40 degree tip ,under 1000 psi ,practice your golf swing and your certified!Wood takes much longer than any other Pressure cleaning specialty to get a handel . You can bundle basic house washing , basic roof cleaning, and basic wood cleaning under one certification . How to use bleach !When you go to a house that's whats there?sealing is too product driven to have a certification. Some products have certifications to use them anyway.

I think you'll gain a better and faster reputation focusing on business to business .Instead of the residential market. Experience has value in the residential market .

Funny story. My wife is working on my web page and she goes what is the RCIA. She was doing research then I explained how you got your certification.

Ill take the wood test.

I'll give you the wood Test if your willing to give feed back to help improve. This might mean you would have to possibly create something small. Or maybe you say its great and theres nothing I can improve.

If your will I'll send it over for you to Test.

Keep in mind there are other questions on General Safety, you will have to take it several times as no one will ever receive the same test twice.
 
I know guys that use armor-all tire for small sections of concrete. There are few better sealers than aa. Think about it: how many times have you washed a driveway and seen the four white splotches? You can use it on most pavers, too.
 
Yeah it works but are you really giving your customer the best solution for the job? You can also use motor oil to seal a deck but no one does.

I know what you mean Pat...I'm having a hard time just trying to figure how to get all my wood cleaned and stained! I'm in search for a helper something I should have started looking sooner!
