Nice picture Ron,
Is there a reason for posting a picture of one of my jobs on this forum? There was a little more than just a clean and seal on this job. This was a complet re-do inside and out including chinking exterior and interior. Log hand rails on back deck and log hand rails for the interior were also added. Log railing on front deck was also added. This job took us almost 3 months to complete. Oh, the back deck was enlarged and new steps were added. Now, how much????

In case you're wondering how much the home cost. The home owners had just purchased the home plus land for 1.2 million. The home sits on 125 plus acres at the base of a mountain. The land contains a park, stream, small lake and a stocked fishing pond.
After we finished this project, we started building a wood shed just back of the house. We built it to resemble an old western bar, he liked it so much that he moved his office into it and built a wood shed behind it. I'll try to find a picture and post it.

i was talking the value of the home ..... Jim, i was looking at the site, i didnt even realize you where using this as a after photo. Its great work. I would love to have a mountain cabin.
To answer your question i dont have a picture of a cabin. i live in the desert. well the valley, still not many log cabins.

I didn't think you meant any harm. I have found that it's always best to ask before jumping off the deep end. No sence in creating problems when there's no reason to do so.
This home has over 3000 square feet in it, bigger than it looks. If your wondering about the cost of a small cabin, say a 1000 sq. feet or so. You should be able to get a kit like this one for between 30 and 40 thousand. You could stack the logs yourself and even do the finish work if you wanted to. Turn key (completed) would probably be somewhere around 125 thousand. They are not that hard to put together.
