How many are using the QR codes for your marketing?

I am working on changing the wrap/lettering on my truck and just thought of adding the QR code to the sides.

For those of you that use the QR code, do you have it taking the customers to a youtube video, website info page or picture gallery on the website?

How has this worked out for you?

How many customers have let you know that they used the QR code?

Thanks.

I have it only on the back of my business cards. It has my name, web site, phone number, and email. Which they can save to there phone. I never ask if my customers have been using it.
When they scan the card most of the readers ask save to your contacts , then if they say yes, they have all my contact info and web site on there phone.
Myself that is what I want rather taking it to a utube.
Dont pay for one, they are free.

Chris I have never used one. I have never really though that having a QR CODE as being helpful when on a business card, truck, flyer etc. The web site address is printed and and the customer can easily enter that into the browser. My thought has always be that if you are at a stop light, parked in a parking lot, or driving down the road and a customer sees your truck, they will find it much easier to remember superiorpowerwashing.com in there mind than they will be able to get there phone out, pull the app up that will read the QR code, take a picture of it,and then bring your site up. Besides that, it's usually the phone # that they will most often use and is what you really want them to use a well.

I think QR codes are a one of those "neat" things to have, and probably make someone look technologically advanced or something but I have never seen them as something that was very user friendly. I personally have never used one to pull up someones web site.

Would love to hear if someone has had success with one and could actually attribute a fair amount of business off of one.
