How is this Product

I wonder if anyone has a recomendation????

Easy....use Ready Seal! lol!

Seriously, after using a number of sealers/stains, Ready Seal is my favorite and unless something equal in all ways appears and costs less, Ready Seal is the way to go. I am not wishing Ready Seal could do something better, either, unless we talk about a wider distribution network. Armstrong Stain may be that good but they would have to prove it on the job!

There are a number of reputable wood restoration companies putting this product down - we have used it on several decks and a couple of log homes. It's not "goof proof" like Ready Seal is - it has curing properties that Ready Seal does not. Thusfar - reviews in the wood community are good as a whole.

I like the Armstrong Clark stain. I talked to a friend from these boards that said after he used Ready Seal it did not seem to cure very fast and when people walked on it to return to their home, that you could see the footprints from the shoes being on the deck on their expensive white carpet.

I have not used Ready Seal, but things like that scare me. I am in the business to make the largest profit margin I can. Things like that are not welcome.

As far as good proof goes. I have been around painting all my life with my Grandpas company, so its all goof proof to me. Unless your into hiring the goofs, do not apply any coatings.
