1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.

2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.

8... During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!

To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,

It is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons:

a.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.

b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke..
c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.

d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.

e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.

f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ??

I know what's wrong. We have lost our minds to "Political Correctness" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're "broke" & can't help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans, Homeless etc.,???????????
In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and Turkey .. And now Pakistan .....former home of bin Laden. Literally, BILLIONS of DOLLARS!!!

Our retired seniors living on a 'fixed income' receive no aid nor do they get any breaks while our government and religious organizations pour
Hundreds of Billions of $$$$$$'s and Tons of Food to Foreign Countries! We have hundreds of adoptable children who are shoved aside to make room for the adoption of foreign orphans.

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without 'needed' meds, and mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.

YET........................
They have a 'Benefit' for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies.

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries. Sad isn't it?

Screw Walmart. Buy American, Ha Ha Ha, then it was buy american as much as possible, now that went out the door what about a decade and a half ago. Sam Walton at least had them buy American, now its where ever the cheapest slave labor is. Ya Walmart employees 1.6 million, but we probably lost millions of more jobs in manufacturing and supporting jobs to countries we never could compete with. Unless you want everyone working for $1-$4 an hour like they do in all the countries Walmart buys from.

F Walmart Heck you can buy Hanes underwear cheap from them, but there half the quality and thickness of just a few years ago. Buy toys for your kids and they fall apart sometimes the day you buy them, they brow beat suppliers down so much on money, the suppliers make only pennies per item and they have to pay crap to their employees



Sorryyyyy Just bought underwear a couple weeks ago from there and its half the thickness in material and I already ripped a waist band just pulling them on. Screw Walmart, heck I'll pay a few more dollars for a 3 pack of underwear that isnt cheap. Give me good underwear or give me death

Wal Mart didnt send the jobs over seas. They just figured out how to profit from the government doing that. Wal Mart is the epitome of a good capitalist company. Hail wal mart!!

I know you're not washing anymore, but thank god Walmart doesnt do pressure washing.

Scott I'm a little older than you. LONG before many retail stores, long before I ever heard of many companies going overseas or to mexico, long before NAFTA, long before many manufacturing plants and industries left the states I was SEEING tags on Walmart clothes from Bangladesh and other countries this is 20-25+ years ago, they as large as they are had a major hand in the jobs going overseas. Heck the gov followed Walmarts handbook on it and thought it was a great idea. Well that hasnt feared well for America in whole. Everyone asks where's the jobs, why are so many people on unemployment. Cause there's no jobs. The building boom is gone and now they realize other than that, there's no other big boom times to be had
Hell I just want GOOD UNDERWEAR!!! Although I did buy some good Calvin Klein underwear at Dillards, yup, it was made in another country.

Anyone remember about 20 years ago when Walmart got caught putting American Made tags in their clothes, when they were made in other cheap labor countries and they did an undercover buying story and went to sweatshops that Walmart used in other countries? They had video of little kids working 14 hour days. They had the big guys in the sweat shops bragging about it..

I remember after that for a while they started sending the pieces of clothes back to america and they would assemble the clothes here and then they could put Made In America tags in the clothese, tricky bastards. Heck then they just said the hell with that and totally dropped the Made In America angle

Might be the epitome of capitalism, but sure wish we had more jobs here for our people

You better hope the company you're working for doesn't go overseas to produce chems. You may not have anything to do the waterblasting on

I gained 5lbs on one week vacation. If I was travling as much as you have I'd be a blimp again. Lost that 5 quick, you'll lose it again

Yeah all the headache being the largest, I just would like to be one of the other 300 companies that put more money in the bank than walmart without being the giant. It might be less or more but around three hundred american companies made a larger net.
 
The problem is people letting themselves be subject to imposed ideals that don't fit anything but a selfish agenda.

My grandpa told me that guns solve this problem. I gotta say, I am beginning to agree.

Yup me to Ronnie. Apple is much larger then Walmart now and you can buy all the Apple stuff online. Walmart to me is another ticking time bomb. Brick and Morter retail stores are crumbling..... Technology is going to wipe alot of them out. Cities are going to spring up with very little labor around them. The people are going to live in high end apartments making there living off of technology.

Think Halograms. I just bought another Droid Phone again after 3-4 yrs away from them. Even Verizon on the phone was telling me I would get a better deal then the Brick and Morter Verizon a couple of blocks from me but still I went to the "Brick and Morter" because I needed a phone asap. The guy in there tells me that Japan now has a Pen Computer. You take it out of your pocket and open it like a Tripod. From there its a Halogram and you type in mid air. You can watch things in mid air.

If I live 50 more years I can see Walmart going the way of many smaller giants in years past. There massive now but technology will be there enemy eventually also............

Another thing how can 68 ounces of apple blossom dawn be $4.67 for months and then in one day it goes up to $5.63. The smaller sizes are less expensive now. Tricky bastards Damn Walmart
 
Just watched the debate here in my hometown and the business minded Herman Cain sounded pretty good. He and Ron Paul seem to know the economic stuff pretty good but I also thought Santorum and Newt did well. I was surprised how divergent they were on the debt ceiling.

Free Balling saves me money but chaffing cream costs more than the draws so I had to convert back. This conversation is going south quick, I'm outa here hitting the boat and Frenchy's for lunch.
