I know that some of you are using Facebook to market to your clients but are you using it to the full potential? Or are you using it at all?
As you know, it is easier to sell to customers that you already have and Facebook is a good place to do that. The key is however, not to overdo it. I have seen people that post photos of every job that they do and share it with their friends/likes. Doing this too often results in people thinking you are a spammer.
Here is how you can use Facebook without looking like a spammer.
1. First off you need some sort of landing page. I don't care where you get it from but you need to have something that makes people that have not liked your page click the like button. Landing directly on your wall will not do this.
2. After they click like, give them something. 10% off a house wash or free driveway cleaning with a house wash purchase etc.
3. Run Monthly specials for some small extra service available to only your Facebook fans. Tell them to share with their friends so that they can get the same deal when they like your page. They may not want the deal but they may know someone that does.
4. Run periodic contests..... dirty roof, mold gone wild, pennicilin paradise(mold), ugly deck, holiday decoration etc. Have people submit photos and have your fans vote for a winner. Prizes can be something as simple as a $25 Home Depot card.
5. When posting photos, Just post them in the albums. There is no need to share these, customers do not care about your other customers. One thing that you can do is tag the photo with the customer name so that it appears on their wall. It will also appear on the wall of their friends. When talking to a new potential customer ask them to go to your Facebook page to see photos of your work. Of course they will have to click LIKE because of your new landing page.
Now that they have clicked like (even if they are not a customer yet) they are in your marketing list.
The best thing of all is that Facebook marketing is FREE.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
