How are you OLD FOGIES planning retirement?

Just as the title, states, as all you members know, almost 99.9% of everyone on here including ron is ancient... lol j/k

So how are all of you planning your retirement have you opened an IRA and depositing money into that, have you opened a special retirement fund or does your company offer 401k and are you depositing into that..

Also what age do you think you will retire, and what the heck are you going to do with all that free time?

I pimp Larry. I am putting enough back to retire by the year 3015.
 
Put money away and dont plan to retire. mabey sell the business and pocket the cashola. then start somthin else as i grow older i realize that i should have started my own bizz. long ago. and the older i get the less work i plan on doing then move to mex. pacific side or nica. and open up a hotel/surfcamp/dive/fishing charter and and live life as it was intended to be lived. Im half way there now i just gotta stay busy the next 10+ years;)

I am saving $5.00 of every $50.00 that scott lets me keep from pimping me out. It's only Wednesday and I've already saved $10.00 this week. :D
 
I came to FL to retire and got involved in P/W the money was to good to turn down.

Now i am planning on giving it 10 more years and then selling out or having some one run it. I dont plan on working past 60 yrs old !!!

I can barley hold my hose as it is!!!

I look mature for my age. I could get into R rated movies at age 6, buy smokes at 9 and hard liquor at 12.

I've kicked around the idea of retiring for a few years now. Last year I talked to my employees about it and told them I would be looking for someone to replace me in about a year. I may step back after this season if everything goes according to my plans.
 
My goal is to retire comfortably in ten years. That means that the savings plan is going to be ramped up, and Our Beloved Leader is going to have to agree to realize that the money that I earn is mine. Otherwise, I might just have to retire in ten years, and not be quite so comfortable. I am fairly certain that I can fairly easily live on about $5k a month in current dollars, with my house paid off, my truck paid off, etc. I could actually probably get it down to $3k, pretty easily. In order to do that, I am going to have to make sure that I am getting a pretty consistent return on my investment.

Or, I could go down and live in a van by the river...
