Houston, TX roof cleaning - Ariel View

This is a house we did last week. It was around 5000sqft. They have it up for sale so they took the ariel shots before they decided to clean it, and had to take new ones afterwards. They came out real good, and should be good advertising.

Thats to cool! I wonder if RC helo with cam would do the same thing?

75 foot Bucket Truck or Lift would. Rent one for a day to get some good pics.

My brother in law said the same thing. And that way you could fly it around the house and get different view, instead of just 1. Might be something we have to try...

Hey Scott, great job you're doing man, props to you !

I'm in Katy and want to get into roof cleaning too, not going to ask you labor for training here :D

Just wanna know how is that Bandit working for you, how is the learning curve on using it.

I do not recognize you from any other forum/board, and your subscription date here was January of this year, great progress you've achieved. Is really motivating for me to see someone "new" has learned so much and grown a lot in such a short period.

just keep it up !

I had a customer call late last year and wanted the roof of his 11,000 sq ft house because the realtor was going to have an ariel shot also, house is on the waterway. I could not fit the job in quick enough so I had another guy go over and the H.O. thoughht the price was to high. Go figure he has a few million dollar home but doesnt want to spend the thousands to clean the roof. I hope the buyers talked him down 40K for the roof LOL

That is a great idea Michael.

I need to remember that for my next roof job, I will go by the day before with my 60' bucket truck and take some pictures then the day after around the same time of day for the after pics.

Yea that would work. Roof clean-$400.00 - chems fuel labor etc...
Rental for bucket 1 day,deposit, delivery $700.00
Those are some expensive pics!

Just a thought...if the job is only going to be $400, its probably not worth taking ariel shots anyways. Its these big houses on golf courses and suff that its great for. The guy who took these does it for $135/per shot, so if its a big enough job, it would be worth it for me to pay for the before and after, simply for the advertising alone.

Not sure if I can divulge that info. If I did I may have to kill you. :D ...just kidding. I love the bandit, the flow on it is rediculous. I still have a little trouble keeping the runnoff down, but iv got a good ground woman to take care of that.

I dont really go on the other boards. Ive been on a couple, but I dont like the formats. Im comfortable here. If you have any questions or anything, let me know.

I was trying to find someone that takes good pictures but has reasonable prices to take some when I do some jobs. So far everyone that I know does not take good pictures and nobody wants to come out for just a few pictures and then a day or two later for the after shot.

I will keep looking.

I'll bet that single garage door leads to a rather large underground parking garage.

I've been to a handful myself . . . even registered, but the only two that I like are PWI (ie: this site) and PTS (PressureTek's Forum).
