Either I am getting old or it is getting HOT down here. Temp in Lawrenceville is 93 with a "feels like" of 96. Even though it says the humidity is only 39% the air hits you like a wall when you walk outside. We've had the AC on full blast all day and it is still 85 in the office. After that super cold winter I would have expected it to be a cooler summer...guess I was wrong!

What are the temps like in your area?

What special things are you doing to keep cool? How do you guys who run hot water all day cope?

Edit: Just checked out Mesa AZ temps: actual is 104 but the feels like is 97 because they only have 3% humidity.

I've got 92, 51% humidity, heat index 100

94 today and 76% humidity. I was on roofs all day cleaning. It was a little warmer up there. I love this weather! When I get too hot I just think about February in Indiana.

4 months ago there was 52 inches of snow here.
Think of it this way. Today it was 111 degrees and partly cloudy in Bagdahad Iraq. Some kid wore a interceptor vest that weighs 19 pounds and lets air thru it about as well as 4 inches of concrete and a helmet and 24 lbs of other "stuff" making about 53 dollars for his day of work for all of us so I am OK wih 96 and humid.

I don't know why I was shocked when my buddy told me it snowed in Afghanistan. I just didn't think it snowed in the desert. His logistics were shot in the winter when it snowed. Ran out of small things like forks and toilet paper.

And with it being so hot here my dumb @$$ is going camping this weekend. I haven't been in 5 yrs so I took the first opportunity I got. :clapping:

Oh it snows there. there are mountanis too. Most of afghanistan is over 2000 feet in elevation and the Hindu kush mountains are only 4000 feet lower than mount everest.
