For the guys who ordered Hot Water Dragons...how long did it take to get your machine? I ordered and paid in full for our Slimline 8 GPM unit a month and a day ago and no word on shipping yet. Guys at PWS are trying to get the info from the MFG. Don't mind waiting for a good piece of equipment...just would like to get an idea of how long I should expect to wait.

It varies. You will be thrilled with it once you get it.

Scott is spot on. Those water dragons run smoooooth.

I'm almost certain your order is on it's way. But you're right, it wouldn't hurt to find out where it's at.

I redirected your order to the back of my flatbed. Hope you dont mind.

The two I got took short of a couple months. But well worth the wait.

Kevin, your unit is in final testing and should ship by Wednesday of this week. I apologize for the delay we have just been so busy it has been difficult to keep up. We have increased our production and are pre-fabricating a lot of our equipment to keep up with demand. I know it doesn't help you but going forward it should be much faster.

Thanks Paul,
I did get a call from your associate and indeed it is supposed to ship tomorrow. We can't wait to get it and start cleaning.

I'm just curious on how long the Water Dragon's are tested for before they go out the door? I know that Hydrotek only test theirs for less than a 1/2 hour, no wonder I have so many problems with mine.

Vince i bet if you bought it new you might have been better off. There is a reason why someone auctioned it off on ebay.

It was brand new, still bolt to the pallet with 0.5 hours on it. The same amount that the other one I got had on it. Both of them are nothing but problems. 1 has almost 500 hours on it and the other only 70 on it so far.

Wow my mistake if we could have a reality pressure washing tv show i would nominate you for a new machine of your choice you have had bad luck with these machines.Hopefully you get some relief soon and get going good without any problems.

Can't answer about the water dragons but based on the testing I saw Paul putting dual roof pump systems through last time I was in Milwaukee, I would imagine pretty intense.

Lmao I just have bad luck period Hal. Machines, trucks, hoses, toolboxes, you name it. With me it's never just 1 thing that breaks though, it always 3 or 4 things in a domino effect lol.

We test them for a fairly long time. If we find anything that is not within specs or looks like it can be an issue we pull it and make the adjustment or replacement and run it through the testing process again. We have had the design tested and approved by the Honda engineers as well which is about a 4-5 hour process. This is required in order to use their engines on our equipment.

Just recently we ran a 10 gpm unit in a parking garage for 23 hours straight. We stopped twice, once for gas and once to move down to the second floor and it ran great! (I love the big remote tanks..)

The also use pre-set hour meters that start at 0.5, but shhhh don't tell anyone :)
