Hood vent scumbag

JL Pressure Washing
My neighbor opened up a Italian Rest about 6 months ago after his trucking dispatch biz tanked during the high gas prices. Its great place to eat and is growing daily, great food great prices. Sunday I was driving by and he's usually closed saw the door open and went in to say hi. Well he , his wife and some workers were cleaning up. The counter was trashed. Then he took me out to the kitchen. The ceiling was trashed, the hood duct from the roof was hanging and other heating duct work too, crap all over the kitchen. Some scumbag went and ripped of the top of the hood vent from the roof and crawled in the ceiling. They have video but the scumbag stayed crawling on the floor, had gloves and face pretty well hidden

This idiot got less than $7 in change and thats it, but I am sure he did thousands in damage. Here's a guy just trying to make it and some crackhead gets $7. I wish my neighbor caught him, he would of had a bullet in his head

This same guy did 3 other places the same way in the past month or so.

SCUMBAGS DIE

I seen a guy do this with an ac unit. Tore it off and robbed 4 stores, kicked thru walls.

I also seen a guy drop down in a chinese joint and not be able to get out. I imagine that one was funny...when the cops got there after the alarm was going off.

I hate SCUM, they will tear up thousands of dollars worth or anybody Else's stuff for a buck and not to have to work 1 min in their Life.

I know the owner of the storage facility we used to use, and they have a car wash on site. He said that at least once a week some crackheads come in the middle of the night and break into the machines and steel the money. Then he has to replace the money boxes because they tear them up. He said they keep a storage full on hand because they know they have to replace them at least once a week.

He said he was considering trying to make them an offer that he would just pay them more than they were taking just to get them to stop! I offered to sit out there for a couple of weeks and wait on them in exchange for free storage for life. He didnt go for it.

When I was a Kid my Dad had a Restaurant and bar and a Guy did just like this guy did and came through the vent in the back by the large walk-in Box, We found him like two days later Dead, he had fallen over some box's and broken his neck. We never knew anyone had got in until the smell from him, so Crime does not pay for some.

That sounds like Justice to me, hope he had enough money on him to cover the damages.

That would have been cool if the cops were to call the owners and say that you have a new "Pinata" to try out for a few days. That would be good, then make them pay for the damages.

They have shown a guy on "Stupidest Criminals" fall through the ceiling of a liquor store, get a few bottles together, and find out the front door is locked by key. He tried to jump back up through the ceiling only to break an arm or something. He was waiting by the door when the cops showed up.

Seen one of a guy trying to rob a place. Tried to leave but couldnt open the door, started yelling at them to unlock the door. Pulled with all his might the door wouldnt budge. He was trapped till the cops showed up. If he would just have read the little sign on the door that said "push"

In some of the not so good areas of town I notice the fans are padlocked shut because of that.

I will suggest this to him. I just figure the scumbags will cut the lock too. Is there any one type of padlock that is best that you know of.

Thanks

I used to own a pizza place in Newark NJ and had the same thing happen to my place. I was right in the middle of selling it,and I got a phone call from the Newark police that my place was broken into overnite. The thieves came in from the rooftop hvac system they cut a hole in my wall and robbed the camera store next door of thousands of dollars of camera equipment. They only stole a turkey and roast beef from my deli case and used my ladder to escape back out the hvac, but they dropped the turkey and left it behind. I was glad they did not do more damage to my store. This happened before I owned the place also and the owner of the building had bars welded over the hvac unit but they cut them with a torch. About 6 months after I sold it it happened again to the new owners. I was one happy guy when I sold that place. It was a very nice restaurant ,but the housing projects were a few blocks away ,and it was a very dangerous area at night.I used to have a loaded hand gun in my office and thankfully never had to pull it out.
