Hood Pro

Josh,
I did try this product about two years ago and was not pleased with the results. It didnt have near the cleaning ability of the NaoH based products and is a witch to rinse off. I was comparing it at the time to the V-500 and it couldnt compete. I have since gone to a product similar to Bonzi that I mix myself. Just having a problem getting it to foam right. However that might be worked out thanks to Matt.

Off of Houston River Road. Had one of you inspect my house as a matter of fact about two weeks after Rita hit us. Just got my roof put on this week and my floors in about a month ago. You probably wouldnt recognize the area now after all the cleanup. I think Fema is about to pull out of the area as we speak. Dont know if we met but thanks to all of you that helped out.

With the start of hurricane season they might want to stick around for a while. I have some experience with FEMA having lived ( and hoping to move back ) to the OuterBanks of North Carolina. they have really nice people saddled by a completely burdensome buracracy. they need to let the field guys make the decisions.
I am greatful that you and your family survived Rita, Katrina ect

Josh,
I think it would probably foam well because of the surfactants used in the blend. Thats probably one reason it was so hard to rinse. Im not sure what the alkalinity is derived from (smelled like soda ash)but it should work on light grease of a well maintained hood. It just didnt work on the burnt grease over the fryers and broilers that I was starting out with at that time like SH products did. A very light citric/water rinse might be the ticket to remove it quickly and eliminate the white residue after drying.

I may have saved a small amount. If I can find it I will try to foam it this weekend and let you know how it performs. I didnt have a foamer at the time I tried it.

Kory,
If you are talking about the one in Westlake I believe he may be getting into the KEC work soon. I havent spoke to him about it but his neighbor called me to let me know. I believe his last name is Roy. The restraunts are still hurting for employees. When I got to my second job tonight they had already left. Shutdown two hours early due to lack of help. Wasnt a keyed account and they didnt call. Oh well get a little extra sleep I guess.

Anyone try hood monster? How well did it clean up?reason I ask is there is a company getting out of the buuisness near me and they want to sell off their chemical cleaners. Just want to know if it's worth using.
