Home Show Experience

Okay guys this may be a long thread but I learned alot at the home show

1.) Make friends with your neighbors and everyone around you - the are potential customers as well. Cross market at the show.

2.) Market to people in your related field and other business's that you could service. ( Exterior painters , landscapers, handy mans)

3.) Dont hesitate to get out there and run your mouth - get people excited

4.) At first we were trying to hand out our post cards to everyone that walked by our booth - um ya, that didnt work to well, people would say "oh no thanks" so I decided to put a postcard, magnet, and pen together, and I would walk up to someone and say here ya go....and they would say "Thank you" BINGO - thank you, when they say this they feel like you have helped them and it is a positive thing.... All they really wanted was the free pen and magnet - but then they look at you, look at your sign, and look down at the post card.......which results in a question.. * Do you do siding, brick, decks and so on so fourth....... The stupid pen was the key.....after I realized this it was smooth sailing -

The show worked well and we will return to it next year - there is the HUGE show coming up which is the Spring Garden * Home Show......this show is AMAZING for business and we are hopeful to get a space.

Here are some pictures from the show...and if anyone has questions please ask.
