Ok everyone, I have spoken to all of the PW Chemical suppliers and the chemicals will cost me double and in some cases triple due to shipping. I have decided to try and see if I can get raw chemical here on the Island and make some mixes for my use. Who out there is doing this and what chemicals should I bee looking to purchase? How much of this chemical and how much of that? I'd hate to be doing crappy job. I am ready to get going just need the chems to do the job. All help is welcomed.

mabe i missed it before but what exactly are you going to be cleaning ?didnt you say something about flat roofs and stuff.let me know all you plan on doing and i will try to help

ok i found your post ......if you have a lot of mildew the easy thing to stock up on is BLEACH!!!THhe degreaser should be available at an auto parts store if nowhere else.....mabe this will help start you

Thanks Russ, Yeah I bought two cases of generic bleach, 5 gallon of bran X degreaser and 5 gallons of Dawn, I was hoping to mix up some more industrial strength stuff but I think if I am lucky enough to land a job after I hand out brochures, I will at least have something to get started. What about Bulk Chemicals I should look into finding out if the companies around here stock? Whick ones are they for the PW biz?

as far as degreasers go you can by bulk powder as well and mix it yourself.you can type in powdered degreasers on your search engine and see what comes up or if you need help i dont mind doing some leg work to help out.....you are also welcome to call

Don't be suprised if I call you up. I have spoken to guys all over the country trying to get set up. Living on an Island sometimes has it's drawbacks because of the shipping but then again I can wash 365 days a year. All you other guys would just hate the 87 degree weather every single day of the year..lol.
