Just wondering what everyones doing?

I have spent my last five days with graduation. I went to four this week, one my own daughter.

I spent two days in the mountains with In-laws....lots of fun.

its was nice in the white mountains.

I may be up for some water sports or ATV riding by saturday. Lots of fun when it rains here like it has.

Anyone else going to the Lake, Beach or just relaxing around the house.
 
Doing 2 jobs, a house wash and a roof wash tomorrow, then off my parents in the mountains, (300 miles away) so they can see their grandaughters! We will be at the local state park to do some hiking, fishing, and I bet there will be some good eating from the grill! We will return Monday night!
 
Saturday - Breezeways in an apartment complex in Littleton
Sunday - Joes Crab Shack Flatwork, RAC Transport Trailers (Fleet)
Monday - High School Drags - My sister is racing my dads 69 Mustang. She just turned 16, this is her first time out on the track. Bandimere speedway hosts what is called High School Drags twice per year, it is a chance for the kids to get out there and have some fun. I am her manager, pit crew and mental stablizer....haha. everyone else just sits in the stands. I have taught her everything she knows lol, just tootin my horn. Will post photos on monday afternoon, late evening.

Oh wait..where is the time to sit back and relax? Can I take Tuesday off too?

I talked with Bret on that job we demo when i was in denver. He considering changing from that company.

Washing a house today, building my son (13) a half-pipe in the backyard Sunday and Monday. Bought the plans with a dvd online. Looks easy. (haha) 10 lbs of screws needed, think my cordless will last? I may even try to post some pics when (if) we finish.
 
Picking up a new 36" walk behind and some other new tools for the new side biz. Always working for me. Just another Holiday and it slows down the working progress. LOL

Kidding.... I'll probaby take my boy to the petting Zoo this weekend at some point.
 
Just taking it easy, doing yard work,cooking,cleaning truck and rig,getting together a write up on my motorcycle to sell it. Tuesday back to work....
 
just relaxing for me going to the inlaws today actually have not worked since tuesday had my gall bladder taken out wednesday so been a little sore the company still made money though all have a good weekend
 
heading out after lunch , we have 19 stations to do by Tuesday, also 2 roofs and 2 house washes I wish I had never booked (except they pay cash) , Tuesday I guess we will be back on the grind after the vacation weekend , new skid coming in , then we will head out to South Carolina for a mall then to Virginia for 22 more strip malls then to Maryland for 8 more ......... wait I didnt get a day off ?

What day is it Labor Day ? hahahaha
 
Got a funeral to go to today then cook out this after noon. Tomorrow metting with the Mayor of Worthville for their mowing contract. Have a graduation to go to after that then i might go play a lil golf. Monday i'm heading out on the river for a while ... . we live right on it as you can see in the picture i took from my back yard lol I love the view . . . Boating season is awesome . . .its like a big party every weekend

When do you find time not to work Russ. People say you are a bull and I'm starting to believe them. Hope you find time to have some kind of a weekend. Be safe out there!
 
Holiday Weekend

The boy and I are on our own most of the weekend, the wife works in retail and this is a big weekend for her outfit.

Today I'm gonna build some small parts assemblies like guns, whip hoses, that kind of nickel-n-dime stuff that I can do in the various naptimes. Later is a first birthday party for a buddies' little guy, should mean cake, ice cream, and conversation about stuff I know precious little about, with people I really only see at baby-type parties. Actually good folks, just not my crowd.

Tomorrow Joe and I will be churching without mama, then more of todays kind of fun, only it will probably include some yardwork if it ever warms up.

Monday I will be at the local war memorial at dawn (every memorial day for 21 years now) and will stay until the air guard flies the missing man overhead about ten. The war memorial is the only marker for my grandpa's little brother lost at sea on the USS Jarvis, and I've gone their to honor his and others' sacrifice since I graduated from high school.

The rest of the day I tour the local cemetaries, visiting the memorials and the graves of friends and family. Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Veteran's Day are important holidays in my house, something I learned from my father and grandfather before me, and something I hope to pass to Joey.

Take a moment this weekend to honor those that have given for you and our country, and to honor your family as well. Nobody is really dead untill they have been forgotten.

I did a house wash today along with 3 estimates. Tomorrow Im picking up supplies for a deck and dock sealing job on Tues. Then come home , drank a few adult beverages, throw some dogs and burgers on the grill and chill. Monday I'm on duty at the firestation. Will definately take a minute for the vets. My dad was in Vietnam. Should be a nice weekend, we are having good weather here. Everyone have a good weekend and be safe.
 
Went to Six Flags Great Adventure with my wife and 13month old son (Went on his first Rides ever), tommorow taking the family boat (50' Viking Sportfish) from Long Beach Island, NJ to Atlantic City for some Casino Action, then have a ton of estimates to do on Monday.
 
Spent time with my daughter yesterday.. We went swimming and then boating on the reservoir.. But as work would have it ... I have to clean 2 stores today , Concrete in the morning, a job Monday Night and then I go out of town for a week.. Going to Laurel, Quitman, Merdian , and Macon.
