Hey Bill - "No Sweat"

Hey Bill,

I'm a big Stewart fan, but I can't say I'm as happy about the switch to Chevy as you are. I think it will benefit the team, but I'm a Ford man at heart.

Now if only JGR could get the bodywork from DEI/Childress'/Petree's "RAD" program, they'd be set!

We'll see how it pans out next week.......

Hi Mike,

I knew that you were also a Stewart fan. I just wanted to post a picture of Tony's trophy on top of the Chevy. I started being a fan his rookie year when he wouldn't back down from banging doors with Gordon! I hope that NASCAR doesn't make him change his personality any. A great driver needs a little "Road Rage" to keep him going!.

My second favorite driver is Mark Martin I was hoping that he would win the championship last year. I have read a interesting book on him that really talks about his early life and struggles of getting into a NASCAR ride. His time is getting shorter and shorter each year to win a championship. I really can't believe there is no longer a #28 car!.

Remember the best Tony has finished in the 500 is 28th. in 1999 his rookie season. So I think that one of the DEI cars will repeat their dominance of restictor plate racing again. I think it will take a few races for Tony and his crew to the get differences worked out between the cars.

I've also been a fan since '99. I keep a faded old plate on the front of my truck to illustrate that point. If I replace it, I look like a bandwagon fan...... :)

I dont think NASCAR, a therapist, or anyone else will change Tony.

I have alot of respect for Martin and like him very much, but I can't shed any tears for him............he would have had a championship years ago if not for that points penalty. I'm sure he personally had nothing to do with the infraction, but still, he lost the championship because of it.

#28 car............all good things must come to an end!

Tony already lost an engine in Speedweeks, so maybe he'll be good to go for the 500. We'll see. Plus, driving a chevy should get him a few more friends to draft with.
