If your starting now your late to the game. However if you start now you will be ahead of the crowd. Most live check to check and off of fast food and restaurants. In natural disasters food is gone in less than 3 days and does not return for weeks. I have seen it many times. Don't forget water not only for drinking but brushing teeth and cleaning dishes. You will go to turn your faucet on and guess what the water plant has no power, you have no water. It's not if it's when!

If so now someone has given FEMA a new idea.

true so true. I like the united states goverment about as much as i like the local child molester. I despise them both. I can remember when i was in my twenties and thought the goverment was good. how much a fool i was then. I meet a guy two years ago in north dakota. he was originally from Missurri had a wife and two kids. a real hard core survivalist. he was preparing for ww3. he had quite the arsenal and was always buying more. at first i thought he was crazy when he told me he wanted a rocket launcher. I asked him why in the world he needed a rocket launcher. his exact answer was, " well first they will send the sherrif, then the swat team, then the state police and i can handle them , but when they send helicopters and tanks i need a rocket launcher. " I wonder if he got one?? I hope he did.

They didn't buy up all the ammo. There is plenty being produced, there is just an insane demand at the moment. It's fairly difficult to just make more ammo factories, there's a reason they're prime targets during offensive operations in warfare. As far as the government buying up ALL the food....that's just silly. I'm not a huge fan of the current U.S. government, but let's not get carried away.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet ;)

Lol. And the government would never intercept the emails of private citizens either.

Or hide CIA operatives who witnessed Benghazi by changing their names and giving them new identities.

Trust the government. They would never do anything to take away our independence. Lol.

Not to rain on your conspiracy parade, but couldnt it be that fema is requesting a proposal for future work? If I needed someone to give me food I would want to know how much they could handle.

Regardless if FEMA is buying up all the food or DHS is buying up all the ammo, those are the least of our worries.

Please keep up with the news. Almost daily a new revelation is coming out on the extent the government from federal all the way down to local is willing to go to sidestep the constitution and spit on the bill of rights.

Those who blow the whistle on these illegal activities are called traitors by the sheep. They used to be called heroes.

Our forefathers rose up against England for far less than what is happening in this country now.

Less than a half dozen were killed at the Boston Massacre. Here are some exerpts of Prescott's (the "police") version of the atmosphere leading up to and through the events:

He believed that:

the inhabitants (citizens) carried weapons concealed under their clothes, and would destroy them (his army, the Redcoats) in a moment, if they pleased".

Leading to the massacre:

The insolence as well as utter hatred of the inhabitants to the troops increased daily, insomuch that Monday and Tuesday, the 5th and 6th instant, were privately agreed on for a general engagement, in consequence of which several of the militia came from the country armed to join their friends, menacing to destroy any who should oppose them. This plan has since been discovered.

At the event:

The mob still increased and were more outrageous, striking their clubs or bludgeons one against another, and calling out, come on you rascals, you bloody backs, you lobster scoundrels, fire if you dare, G-d damn you, fire and be damned, we know you dare not, and much more such language was used. At this time I was between the soldiers and the mob, parleying with, and endeavouring all in my power to persuade them to retire peaceably, but to no purpose. They advanced to the points of the bayonets, struck some of them and even the muzzles of the pieces, and seemed to be endeavouring to close with the soldiers. On which some well behaved persons asked me if the guns were charged. I replied yes. They then asked me if I intended to order the men to fire. I answered no, by no means, observing to them that I was advanced before the muzzles of the men's pieces, and must fall a sacrifice if they fired; that the soldiers were upon the half cock and charged bayonets, and my giving the word fire under those circumstances would prove me to be no officer. While I was thus speaking, one of the soldiers having received a severe blow with a stick, stepped a little on one side and instantly fired, on which turning to and asking him why he fired without orders, I was struck with a club on my arm, which for some time deprived me of the use of it, which blow had it been placed on my head, most probably would have destroyed me.
On this a general attack was made on the men by a great number of heavy clubs and snowballs being thrown at them, by which all our lives were in imminent danger, some persons at the same time from behind calling out, damn your bloods-why don't you fire. Instantly three or four of the soldiers fired, one after another, and directly after three more in the same confusion and hurry. The mob then ran away, except three unhappy men who instantly expired, in which number was Mr. Gray at whose rope-walk the prior quarrels took place; one more is since dead, three others are dangerously, and four slightly wounded. The whole of this melancholy affair was transacted in almost 20 minutes.

So from the viewpoint of the Redcoats (the police sent to Boston to preserve order) these men were under constant abuse and were confronted by a mob wielding weapons and were even struck by those weapons.

Yet, the killing of a mere 5 citizens by them was enough to spark an entire revolution.

Approximately one citizen per day is killed by the police nationwide in a trend that has been increasing since 1980. The only city I could find with a study on this showed that 1 out of three on average is completely unarmed, with any type of weapon.

More citizens have been killed by the police since 9/11 than died on that day.

You are eight times more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist (look it up, it is a NSA study)

So Redcoats (the police) were getting their rear ends beat on a regular basis, tax collectors were having their houses burned down and being tarred and feathered, and beaten yet when they (the redcoats) shoot 5 citizens armed with clubs and other weapons (reports said many of them were armed with guns) it sparked a revolution that birthed this country.

Where are the men who will rise up and defend this nation that we built? Or start another one based on the principals we inherited?

My only hope is that you are right, and they are citizens who are quietly buying up all the ammo.
