Hey guys- I am in a pickle.Cleaned a house today-vinyl siding the mix I used was 55 gallons water,12 gallons SH, 28 ounces Simple Cherry, 16 ounces F-13.Washed from the bottom up, using All-Flo pump-soft wash system and I got BAD streaking.Just got through doing 6 townhouses and another big house with same ratio and no problem. What is going on?

NO no pics I will be going back in the morning to talk to the lady. She had already told me the siding was old and that she wanted to paint it anyway , but she was still pretty freaked out.

Well is a house that had some light sploching from someone who had done a pressure washing job two years ago, and I mentioned this to the lady.So I did my job, rinsed well and after it dried, bad sploching and streaking showed up, but some sections of the house didn't do it at all-I was wondering if I had too much SH in my mix..??

The siding was old and had oxidation on it.

I think you just answered your own question there. I am very very cautious of siding that has oxidation on it. Someone else here might be able to give you better advice on what to do to fix it.

oxidation on vinyl....hmmm...well when oxidation occurs on a car, you use a cleaning compound to remove (lot of work). same premise here? i dunno.

IMO, your mix is way too "hot". With that hot a mix, plus the F-13, it sounds like you've unevenly removed oxidation. A rinse with some very low pressure will even it out. Is any of the splotching orange? I've had hot mixes on yellow siding result in (magically) having a thin coating of rust appear. Try a spritz of oxalic on a small area. If it removes the splotch, you should be able to spray the house with a weak mixture and rinse thoroughly.

Are you sure the streaking is not coming from behind the siding. Some vinyl has a backing that can get wet and then streak thru the weep holes. I had a yellow vinyl house that did this because the siding was actually loose and some cleaner misted under it.....it streaked blue.........
Another house, yellow vinyl, had a texture to it that held dirt and streaked when drying. It took lots of rinsing.
