Help with the math.

Never been good at math.... in fact I always got the same grades as the person that sat next to me in school... anyway I've been mixing 50% water and 50% 10% ssh from the pool store for my housewash mix. I then downstream with a super suds sucker that's supposed to pull 20%. Does anyone know what percentage is hitting the house?

1%....10% sh / 2 = 5%
5% / 5 (20%) - 1%

Don't ever go by what the label says or what the distributor tells you that the injector pulls.

You need to do a test as different nozzles will have an effect on how much the injector pulls.

The diameter of the pressure hose, the length of the pressure hose are also factors in how the injector pulls.

I use a super suds sucker and with one hose it pulls 13:1 so that is different than what I was told when I bought it.

Your supposed to measure???

I just use the downstream injectors for house washing but for fleet washing, specifically the system that I had to modify, test and calibrate so it would do a much better job, I had to do a lot of measuring and testing to see if I was making progress, I was and did.

For most house and building washing jobs I would not even think twice about things like I did before, just get the 12.5% (just started using it last year, they did not have it available here until last year) add some soap and start washing.

When the injector does not work, put a kit into it and get back to work.
